Our “Women Start Their Own Business” Program Continues with New Support

Since 2023, we have been running the “Women Start Their Own Business” program in Hatay to support women affected by the earthquake in accessing income opportunities. With this program, we aimed to support women taking their first steps toward earning an income, and the number of applications we received clearly showed how many women are in need of such support.

We carry out this program through various projects that address different aspects of business development—such as capacity building, creating solidarity networks, and providing materials and equipment.

With the support of the Croda Foundation, we are now launching a new project to support women working in sustainable agriculture and animal husbandry. Through this new project, we will provide tools and equipment to women engaged in agricultural production in Hatay to help them grow their businesses. We will also offer information on agroecological farming practices and promotional support to improve market access.
