Food and Hygiene Products Provided by the İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality Were Distributed

Mavi Kalem has distributed food and hygiene products provided by the İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality to 150 homes in Fatih and Esenyurt districts.

Mavi Kalem continues to provide consultation over phone during the COVID-19 pandemic. Until today, the most prominent request has been money and food support. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic and the precautions against it, a lot of people have been dismissed from work or have been in unpaid leave.  Therefore, a lot of homes have reduced income and cannot afford their needs. In response, a group of volunteers from Mavi Kalem has distributed packages, which were provided by the İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality, that contain food and hygiene products to 150 homes in Fatih and Esenyurt districts.
