Our Hatay Representative Office is open!

MaviKalem’s Hatay Representative Office, MaviKalem’s second representative office after Adana, started its activities on December 21. Following the earthquakes that struck Turkey on February 6, we went to Hatay, one of the provinces that suffered major devastation, to take part in the support efforts. While our work in the region has been in full swing since February, our container office in Antakya’s Derince neighborhood has been transformed into a representative office.

The Hatay work team shared their feelings as follows: “It was something we have been waiting for a long time. We are very happy. Now we can carry out activities here more easily. Having a representative office gives us hope that our work here will continue, that there will be new projects and that we will do very good work here. Since February, we have been distributing and doing a lot of work here. This is like a reward for us now. Our goal is to stay here longer and be more useful to people.”
