Women’s Neighborhood Meeting Its Residents

There is a new safe space for women

We have developed a phone application where women can meet remotely and access information. Women’s Neighborhood is a safe space where accurate information is regularly updated, where women can socialize and where the work of the Women’s Consultation Center and Mavi Kalem can be followed more closely.

The application can be downloaded for free on all mobile phones.

In Women’s Neighborhood, there are many resources on topics like women and child’s health, legal processes, gender-equality etc. These resources consist of content developed by Mavi Kalem with experts in their fields. All of the content has been prepared in both Turkish and Arabic. The app also has a chat section. This is a space where women can socialize with each other and ask the counselor conducting the conversation about the issues they are curious about or need support. Moreover, since there is a translation option from every language, everyone can write and read in their own language.

There is also a calendar consisting of Mavi Kalem’s activities in the application. Women can follow the events here and register by calling the number in the application.
